More Reliable TeamDynamix Synchronization
Virima 6.1.4 fixes a key data-alignment issue and tightens credential handling between Virima’s discovery engine and TeamDynamix CMDB tables.
1. CI Relationship Sync Reliability
In distributed environments, parent and child CIs rarely sync at the exact same second. Previously, if associated CIs synced at different times, the relationship link between them could be skipped.
With 6.1.4, CI relationships now copy to TeamDynamix correctly regardless of sync timing. A server that syncs in the morning and its switch that syncs in the afternoon will still have their dependency relationship preserved.
2. Tighter Domain, App ID, and Metadata Handling
Previously, changing the Domain on the TeamDynamix Credentials page could leave the App ID list pointing at the wrong configuration, with no obvious way to refresh it. With 6.1.4, the “Fetch App ID” button re-displays automatically whenever the Domain changes, keeping your App ID list aligned with your active domain — without a stale configuration slipping through unnoticed.
Resync Metadata also used to leave empty mappings behind when a TeamDynamix attribute was marked Inactive or Deleted. Now it removes those mappings correctly, so your attribute list doesn’t quietly accumulate dead references that could break a future sync.
ServiceNow Picklist and Timestamp Value Persistence
Virima 6.1.4 fixes key attribute mapping behaviors for ServiceNow customers:
1. Picklist Value Persistence
Previously, refreshed picklist values could disappear after a page reload, forcing administrators to re-enter mapping configuration from scratch. With 6.1.4, refreshed picklist values persist reliably across page reloads, so that configuration work only has to happen once.
2. Exact Timestamp Mapping
Previously, these values weren’t copying correctly, so service desk teams couldn’t fully trust how fresh a CI record actually was. With 6.1.4, key operational timestamps — Last Seen On, Last Modified On, and Created On — now copy accurately when mapped to ServiceNow tables, giving service desk teams exact visibility into CI discovery freshness.
3. Subscribed Integration Flags
Previously, CMDB asset detail pages could show sync flags for integrations you don’t even have active — a source of confusing, misleading signals for admins scanning the page. With 6.1.4, sync flags display strictly for active, subscribed integrations, so what you see on the page is what’s actually running.
