01. How is Virima priced — per user or per device?
Virima is priced per device, not per user. The Small and Medium Business (SMB) plan covers up to 100 servers and 900 devices for $10,000/year and includes every module. There are no per-seat or per-user fees, so your entire IT team can use the platform at no added cost. Enterprise pricing is custom-sized to your environment.
Your plan is sized to your environment, and discovering more assets than expected won’t trigger surprise charges mid-contract. If your environment grows beyond your licensed tier, we work with you on a re-scope at renewal — not mid-contract. There’s no mid-term overage billing and no hidden fees, so a discovery scan won’t cause a cost spike.
ViVID™ service maps are included in both the SMB and Enterprise plans. They are not an add-on. Both plans include all our modules: IT Discovery, the Configuration Management Database (CMDB), ViVID™ service maps, IT Asset Management (ITAM), license management, and IT Service Management (ITSM) integrations.
Fast-start discovery services is an onboarding service that gets your discovery environment configured and producing data quickly, without a lengthy professional-services engagement. Our team works alongside yours to configure discovery, connect your ITSM platform, and populate and map your first configuration item (CI) records. It’s included in both plans.
Primarily scale and support. SMB covers up to 100 servers and 900 devices with standard support and three discovery app installations (the discovery collectors deployed across your environment). Enterprise is custom-sized for larger environments and adds premium support, additional discovery app installations, a dedicated Customer Success Manager, Concierge onboarding and support, multi-tenant portal access, and optional private or dedicated hosted environments.
Yes. Third-party ITSM integrations are included in both plans, with no extra licensing fee. Virima offers bidirectional sync with popular ITSM platforms including ServiceNow, Ivanti, Halo, Xurrent, Jira Service Management, and TeamDynamix.
