Virima Visual Impact Display
Ivanti Neurons for Service Mapping provides Ivanti Neurons for ITSM customers with Virima’s unrivaled ViVID™ (Virima Visual Impact Display) business service dependency and relationship mapping. ViVID provides consumable views of automatically generated infrastructure relationships, application/service dependencies, network topologies and system communications. Unlike traditional service mapping solutions, ViVID provides overlays of ITSM records such as open Incidents and pending/recently completed Changes. ViVID greatly decreases the time to perform impact analysis of planned changes and identify the root causes of service disruptions.
Codeless Integration & Configuration
Integration to the Ivanti CMDB is completely configured through the Virima and Ivanti UI’s. There you choose from over 100 Virima blueprints to map to Ivanti CMDB objects (including custom objects), ID which discovery properties you want to sync to the Ivanti CMDB, and choose asset-specific correlators to ensure nothing is ever duplicated.
Flexible Discovery options for Hybrid IT
Discovery options include scheduling agentless IP-based scans with over 140 extendable probes and deploying optional agents for Windows and Linux operating systems. Additional discovery is performed via API integrations with popular hypervisor, cloud, container, orchestration, network, storage and monitoring solutions.
Ivanti CMDB Automation
Choosing which Virima discovered assets or updates to move to the Ivanti CMDB is also a snap. Simply view all assets and updates from a filterable list in Virima and select which to copy to the CMDB. Alternatively, business automation rules can be applied to automate the update process for a hands-free approach to keeping the CMDB current.
Data Accuracy & Accessibility matters
All Virima discovered and synched assets are viewable from the Ivanti configuration item (CI) record. New action links in the Ivanti CMDB record provide ITSM users the ability to view additional discovered CI properties in Virima, explore the CI’s ViVID business service maps and run an instant scan for any new CI updates.
