Virima V6.1.0.1 delivers key enhancements to Discovery and platform functionality, including clearer device classification through redesigned Scan Details, faster and more scalable AWS Import Logs, and a CI merge fix to prevent incorrect property overwrites. The release also introduces a new Support Portal for creating and tracking requests, along with multiple Discovery Application bug fixes improving scan reliability across Linux hosts, SNMP configurations, subnet scans, and FortiGate firewalls.

    Scan Details Classification Improvements
    The Host Details section has been updated and renamed to Scan Details to make device classification clearer. Total Discovered Hosts now reflects the total of the classified categories (Windows, Unix/Linux/macOS, and Network Devices). Also, the earlier Unknown Host and Unknown Devices labels have been consolidated into a single Unknown category for better consistency and clarity.

    AWS Import Logs are now clearer, faster, and more scalable—errors are grouped by category and shown cleanly in the UI. Performance has been optimized for large imports, and for large logs Virima shows a truncated view for quick troubleshooting with a secure download link for the full log.

    Fixed CI merge behavior in Duplicate Remediation to prevent unintended property overwrites and ensure relationships are merged correctly without duplicates.
