Device Classification Refinement
Two device classification types have been updated for clearer categorization:
1.Unknown — Now strictly represents devices where required ports are closed (connectivity issue only). Credential failure cases are no longer included in this category.
2.Unclassified Hosts (New) — A new category introduced to isolate hosts that have one or more ports open but where credentials are not working (authentication/credential failures).
Note: This classification applies only to scans triggered after the release. Users must upgrade to Discovery app v6.1.4027. AWS Credentials – Assume Role Support with External ID
Previously, AWS imports were performed using an Access Key and Secret Key. VIRIMA now supports Assume Role-based imports using AWS STS, including the use of an External ID for improved security and cross-account access control.Manual Trigger for Scheduled Scans & Imports
