Azure / Intune / Meraki Import – Import Logs
A Logs tab has been added for Azure, Intune, and Meraki imports, allowing users to easily view import activity and errors. For large log files, a download option is available to access the complete log.

Device Classification Refinement
Two device classification types have been updated for clearer categorization:
1.Unknown — Now strictly represents devices where required ports are closed (connectivity issue only). Credential failure cases are no longer included in this category.
2.Unclassified Hosts (New) — A new category introduced to isolate hosts that have one or more ports open but where credentials are not working (authentication/credential failures).
Note: This classification applies only to scans triggered after the release. Users must upgrade to Discovery app v6.1.4027.

AWS Credentials – Assume Role Support with External ID
Previously, AWS imports were performed using an Access Key and Secret Key. VIRIMA now supports Assume Role-based imports using AWS STS, including the use of an External ID for improved security and cross-account access control.

Manual Trigger for Scheduled Scans & Imports
A Scan now option is now available in Scheduled Scans, allowing users to manually trigger a scan on demand without waiting for the next scheduled run. Similarly, an Import now option enables instant imports.

Renamed ‘HostName’ to ‘Host’ Across Scan Screens
Discovery UI labels have been updated to replace ‘HostName’ with ‘Host’ wherever the field represents IPs or subnets, ensuring consistent terminology across all scan-related screens.

Cloud Imports – Added ‘Last Imported On’ Timestamp
A Last Imported On field has been added for AWS, Azure, and Meraki imports, showing the most recent import time in both Discovered Items and CMDB views.

Scheduled Scans & Imports – Sample Download Includes Probe Header
The sample download file under Scheduled Scans & Imports now includes the required probe header for accurate configuration.

Improved CI Matching with Fallback Correlator
Discovery correlation now falls back to IP Address when assigned correlators have no values retrieved during Discovery.

CI Column Association Not Updating After Business Rule Triggers Correlator Property Change
Fixed an issue where triggering a Business Rule to update correlator properties on a Discovered Item or within CMDB did not reflect the correct CI column associations. The system now automatically re-evaluates and updates CI associations for the corresponding discovered items.

Discovery App – Agent Packages Updated During Subnet Install
During Subnet Agent Installation, newly built agent packages now correctly replace existing agent files, ensuring the latest version is always installed.

Discovery App – Clear Alert for Mandatory Password Reset
The Virima Discovery application now displays a clear prompt when a user must reset their password on startup, preventing silent failures.

Discovery Agent – Validates Download Before Install
Remote agent installation now verifies that the agent installer downloaded successfully before proceeding. If the download was interrupted, the system automatically re-downloads the agent before continuing installation.

Decommissioned Status in Business Rules & Dedicated View
Decommissioned status value added in Business Rules, allowing users to mark CIs as Decommissioned based on confidence level. A dedicated ‘View Decommissioned’ option has also been added for Software License Key and Software Asset records.

Component Count & Missing Component Identification
The CI → Components tab now displays a count for each component. Mandatory components with missing data are clearly highlighted with an indicator icon.

Removed Personalize Columns Option for JSON Components
The tabular view for JSON components now shows only the default set of columns. To view all fields, users can open the record in the detail popup.

Auto-Linking CIs and Hardware Assets Based on Serial Number
The system now supports automatic linking of CI and Hardware Asset records based on unique Serial Number matches. Linking is processed in batches via the background job ‘Process Link CI and Hardware’, which can be triggered manually or scheduled through Business Rules.

Manual Linking and Unlinking of CI and Hardware Asset Records
Users can now manually link and unlink CI and Hardware Asset records from CMDB or Hardware Assets. Unlinking requires a reason where configured, and all manual link and unlink actions are captured in the audit log.

Auto-Unlink on Serial Number Change or Record Deletion
If the Serial Number is modified on either a CI or Hardware Asset record, the system automatically unlinks the two records. If a linked record is deleted, the association is immediately removed.

Linked Record Panel on CI and Hardware Asset Forms
A new ‘Configuration Items’ subtab has been added to the Hardware Asset form to display linked CIs, and a new ‘ITAM’ subtab has been added to the CI form to display linked Hardware Assets.

Serial Conflict Detection and Resolution
Added support for flagging records with a ‘Serial Conflict’ indicator when multiple records share the same Serial Number during auto-linking. Users can resolve it by manually selecting the correct record to establish the accurate association.

Auditability and Reporting for CI-Asset Link Management
All link actions — automatic and manual — are recorded in the History tab with full traceability. A dedicated Custom Report for Link Coverage is also available, showing paired, orphaned, and percentage of auto vs manual linked records.

Reorganized Select Actions Menu in CMDB
The Select Actions menu in CMDB has been reorganized into clearly defined categories: Basic Actions, Integration Actions, Process Job Actions, and Reports at the list level.

CMDB Blueprint Support for Meraki Device Import
Added 8 device-level blueprints — MX, VMX, MS, MR/CW, MG, MV, MT, and Z — via the Meraki Dashboard API. Each blueprint includes new fields: Organization ID, Network ID, Device Status, and Last Seen On. Added 1 network-level blueprint for Meraki Networks. Firewall Rules, Wireless SSIDs, and Network Clients are included as CI Parts under Meraki Network, and Uplinks as a CI Part under MX.

History Tab Pagination Fix
Records in the CMDB History tab now display correctly across all pages, resolving an issue where some pages appeared blank

Vulnerability Tab Filter Restored
The filter option in the CMDB Vulnerability tab is now available, allowing users to search by CVE ID, severity, and other fields.

Relationship Add Validation
Adding a relationship without selecting a relation type now shows a clear validation message, preventing errors on save.

When creating a new ITAM Property Group, the UI Order field is now automatically filled with the next sequential value, reducing manual setup across Hardware, Contract, Vendor, and Procurement groups.

ServiceNow Sync Status Field
A ServiceNow Sync field has been added in CMDB to indicate whether a CI has been synchronized with ServiceNow. This is automatically set when the CI is pushed to ServiceNow.

ServiceNow Sync – Skip Already Synced Components
The ServiceNow integration now skips components already marked as synced, preventing duplicate records from being created or updated in ServiceNow.

ServiceNow Mappings – Enable/Disable Individual Mappings

Charts with large datasets now render with horizontal scrolling, keeping the Y-axis and legend fixed while the chart area scrolls. Data is paginated at 200 data points per page with navigation controls and a max of 500 data points for the X axis.

Improved Dashboard Widget Expand on Maximize
Bar/Line chart widgets now correctly expand to full-screen with chart and pagination fully functional. Tabular report widgets maintain their expanded table height when changing pages or records per page.

Ad-hoc Reports – Visibility Enforcement Fix

Dashboard Reports – Complete Report Link Loads All Records
The Complete Report link on Dashboard tabular reports now correctly loads all visible records, not just the last entry on the current page.

1000 Records Load Enhancement

Initial Setup Wizard – Password Field Fixes
Two issues in the user creation flow within the Initial Setup Wizard have been resolved: the Generate Password link is now available, and the Re-enter Password field no longer auto-fills along with the password field.
