Virima Unveils v6.1 to Deepen Visibility, Strengthen Security, and Streamline IT‑Ops 

Virima announces the general availability of Virima v6.1, a major platform update designed to empower IT teams with broader discovery, tighter security, and more actionable CMDB insights. This release addresses the complexity of hybrid and cloud‑native environments while enhancing usability and enabling seamless integration into modern ITSM stacks.

  • ServiceNow: sync logs, abort in‑flight syncs, and reverse sync so changes in ServiceNow reflect back. 
  • Ivanti: refined sync logic and filtering for faster and more accurate integration. 

Security, Admin & Governance Enhancements 

  • Bulk credential import support. 
  • Multi‑factor authentication (MFA) for Azure AD and Windows AD users. 
  • Unauthorized CI KPI tile added to dashboards. 
  • Auto‑generation of strong temporary passwords for new accounts. 

Discovery Agent & App Upgrades 

  • Platform upgrades to Java 21 for performance, stability, and security. 
  • Mutual TLS (mTLS) enabled between components. 
  • Non‑root mode for Linux agents. 
  • Enhanced versioning and lifecycle support.
