Virima announces cost-effective Discovery and Service Mapping options for ServiceNow™
Using the ServiceNow Applications Programming Interface (API) Virima has developed multiple integrations for the bidirectional exchange of Configuration Item (CI) data. ServiceNow customers now have a lower cost option with increased capabilities.
Atlanta, May 07, 2018 (PRWeb) – Virima Inc. announced today, the general availability of integrations with the leading service management platform ServiceNow. Virima now provides multiple options for bi-directional exchange of CI data via the ServiceNow API to support the following processes:
Virima Discovery to ServiceNow Configuration Management Data Base (CMDB) – Virima’s agentless and client-based Discovery provides detailed hardware and software attributes for a wide range of asset types which can be automatically moved to ServiceNow Configuration Management Data Base. This ensures that the information within the ServiceNow Configuration Management Data Base is maintained for accuracy and completeness so that it can be leveraged across other ServiceNow ITSM processes.
Virima CMDB to ServiceNow Incident Management – Virima CMDB is used in place of the ServiceNow Configuration Management Data Base. This integration allows incident managers to leverage Virima CMDB records when creating ServiceNow tickets which link back to the CI’s record. Virima’s relationship mapping and visualizations make it easy for incident managers to understand the full impact of IT issues to the business.
Virima CMDB to ServiceNow Change Management – This integration eliminates the need for a ServiceNow Configuration Management Data Base and enables change managers to link Virima CI’s to ServiceNow change requests. Virima’s relationship mapping and visualizations provide change managers with a clear picture of who to include in the change process.
